Here you will find information about me and my books, and can read about experiences that others have had in approaching these issues with their own children. My first three books deal with non-traditional methods of conception through Assisted Reproductive Technologies. My fourth book addresses the issue of adoption.

During my 10 years of working with infertility patients, I realized that aside from support groups available to patients going through infertility treatments, there wasn't much information available for them after they had succeeded. Many times when I would speak with people who were adopted I would ask them "when did you find out?" Most of the time the response was, "I never remember NOT knowing." It is with this thought in mind, that these books were created. They are simplistic in nature so that even very young children will enjoy hearing them. They are colorful so that children will want to look at them. They are whimsical so that complex issues can be introduced in a lighthearted conversation.

Children are remarkable! They live in the moment, they are extraordinarily resilient, they feel without boundaries and they love unconditionally. All they require in return is love. Whether or not parents decide to tell their children how they were conceived is a very personal choice. For those that choose to "tell," these books should help make it so that your child will "never remember NOT knowing."
