My name is Teri, and I live in Las Vegas. After many years of infertility, my husband and I chose to have a surrogate carry our baby. When our baby daughter became old enough, we wanted to introduce her to our wonderful surrogate and somehow explain to her about surrogacy. Your book, From Out of My Body Your Soul Did Grow, is wonderful. It clearly explains our surrogacy journey from start to finish. My family found the pictures colorful and the story full of meaning. The words were sweet and perfectly explained what was so difficult to put into words.
Thank you.

"An absolutely heartwarming book." I could not imagine how perfectly someone could illustrate our In Vitro process for our IVF baby. I LOVE the fact that now I have a special book written just for our IVF baby to explain what we went through to get him. It is endearing, cleverly illustrated and touches anyone going through infertility. As much as I adore "I'll Love you Forever", this book is even more special because it is about our family. My son loves the bright colorful pictures and I love the subtle adult additions like "Dr. M. Bryo". I will cherish this keepsake and pass it on to my son so he will always know just how special he truly is.

Your book is spectacular! I was looking for the perfect gift for my girlfriend and her newly adopted daughter and I found it - your book! Finally, there is a story that fills this void in children’s literature. With so many different definitions of family, it is refreshing to have a book that has kept up with the times. It was so great to have a story that addresses alternative ways a family is blessed by the arrival of a baby. The illustration was beautiful and the story will make every child that reads it feel special and normal at the same time. I only wish this book had been written 30 years ago, when I was discovering what it meant to be adopted. Recently, I have used your book as a tool to help me explain to my three children how "Mommy" came into this world. Thank you so much for this gift, this message and this beautiful book. I know my girlfriend and her daughter will read and re-read this book a million times. Thank you again.

After going through chemotherapy in my twenties, I was the unable to achieve a pregnancy with my own eggs. We were thrilled to be able to have a child through ovum donation. When our child was conceived, we searched everywhere for a tool to help us explain what can be a complicated issue to our daughter. We couldn't find ANYTHING, and are so happy to now have A Part was Given and an Angel was Born.

We love sharing this book with our daughter! It makes discussing this experience with our child simple and fun, just as it should be. It explains all the facts in a way that a young child can understand, all the while emphasizing the love behind the decision to use an ovum donor. Now our daughter can begin to understand her miraculous birth story at an early age. Thank you!

I am an active poster on the Surromomsonline (SMO) web-site.  I am still actively looking into one day helping a couple achieve their dreams of having a child.

ANYWAY...moving right along...I saw all about your books!  They are beautiful Rozanne!  You did an amazing job on them!  You should be very proud of yourself!  Thank-you so much for writing them!  I posted all about them on SMO.  There are often surrogates on there wanting to get something for the parents...I think that your books would be and awesome gift.  I think that they can help in a lot of other ways to...other than the obvious of explaining things to the little angels.  I think that surrogates can use them to explain the surrogacy process to their own children.  I know that sometimes surrogates have children old enough to comprehend what is going on with their mom, and this couple that wants a baby...but often, as parents, we don't always have the right words to explain!  Your books, I think can help with that transition for the surrogate’s children, too.  It goes beyond the whole, "So & So's tummy is broken...and she can't carry a baby in her broken tummy, so mommy will..."  It can also help with explaining the adoption/surrogacy/egg donor process to 'skeptics.'  I think they are wonderful, Rozanne!  I just can't say enough.  Thank you so much for writing these awesome books!  You have done an amazing thing here!  I wish you much success with them...Most Sincerely Yours...
